Somewhere in the inbetween

$450.00

Seaweed, papier-mâché, thread, acrylic

Approx. 21 × 16.5 inches

2023

Due to the organic nature of this material, artwork is subject to changes in color, luminosity, and form over time. Often people ask me “How long does it last?” which is a fair question when deciding to purchase a piece of art. All that I can say is that the pieces on my website have stood up to weather, new environments, and numerous installations and deinstallations over the course of 4-5 years, and part of the concept of the work is that it speaks to the ephemeral nature of beauty and the gradual decay we all face over time.

If you are curious to learn more, I strongly suggest arranging a studio visit to see the pieces in person and understand more about how they function in a space. This can be done via the form at the bottom of this page.

Domestic shipping:

A flat $10 shipping fee is applied to all orders for UPS Ground Shipping. Overnight or 2-day delivery are offered at an additional cost calculated at checkout.  I ship all original artwork from Southern California and artwork will be insured for its full value. I will email you a tracking number once your piece has been dispatched.

International shipping:
